HOUSE REGULATIONS
Welcome to the Euro BMX Freestyle 2025! Libéma Prof Cycling B.V. is organizing the Euro BMX Freestyle at the Area51 venue in Eindhoven. The Area51 venue will only be accessible during the Euro BMX Freestyle with a valid ticket or accreditation. To ensure a pleasant and safe visit, the following house rules apply:
- Visiting the venue and/or event is at your own risk. The venue will be open to the public no later than 1 hour before the start of the competition. For exact opening times, please refer to the program page on this website.
- Personal consumables (except for a small bottle of water (max. 500ml) or small candy) are not allowed. There are catering facilities in the venue where drinks and food can be purchased. A bag check will take place at the entrance.
- Drugs, (toy) weapons, and fireworks are prohibited.
- The (security) staff designated by the organizer are authorized to inspect visitors (through pat-downs and searches), search your bag(s), and confiscate any unauthorized items at their discretion. If you do not cooperate with this, you will be denied access to the venue and the event. Medications are of course allowed, provided a medical certificate can be shown.
- If, in the judgment of (the security staff hired by and/or employees of) the organizer/Area51, a visitor disturbs the order, peace, and/or safety, whether as a result of violating these house rules or not, that visitor may be denied or revoked access to the venue and/or the event.
- It is not allowed to express explicit political, philosophical, or religious views, or to make statements that may be considered offensive, hurtful, or insulting during the event or within the Area51 venue. Additionally, the wearing of clothing or bringing items with nationalist and/or political statements is prohibited. In any of the aforementioned situations and/or in cases of threats, vandalism, damage, assault, intimidation, aggression, discrimination, racism, theft, and/or unwanted advances, you will be denied or revoked access to the venue and the event, and the police may be alerted.
- Visitors who act unlawfully towards (employees of) the organizer and/or Area51, and/or cause damage to the property of the organizer and/or Area51 and/or third parties, will be held liable for the damage, and the costs will be recovered from them.
- It is prohibited to take glassware outside the area where the glassware is provided.
- Distributing flyers, collecting donations, or carrying out other (commercial) activities (such as advertising and/or offering goods or services) is only allowed with prior written permission from the organizer. Such permission must be presented upon request.
- The entire building is smoke-free. E-cigarettes and other forms of tobacco are also not allowed. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are only permitted outside in the designated areas.
- Visitors must always follow the instructions of the security services and/or staff of the organizer and/or Area51.
- Unauthorized access to the park is not allowed.
- The organizer may make or have made audio and/or visual recordings of the venue, activities, and people present in or around the venue. These recordings may be used for promotional purposes in commercial communications. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, avoid areas where you can see a filmer, film crew, and/or photographer at work. The organizer is not obligated to pay any compensation to individuals featured in these images/sound recordings for their use and publication.
- The organizer and Area51 process personal data (including (camera) footage) in accordance with applicable regulations and their privacy statement.
- The bringing of (digital) photo and video equipment is allowed in the venue, provided that the equipment and the footage are not used for commercial purposes. If unlawful commercial use of this equipment and/or footage is detected, you will be removed from the venue, and further access to the event will be denied. This will also be reported to the organizer and the KNWU, and any further actions will be taken by these parties.
- The organizer and Area51 accept no liability for personal injury and/or theft, loss, misplacement, or damage to the belongings of visitors occurring during and/or as a result of a visit to the venue and/or event, except where caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the organizer and/or Area51.
- The organizer and Area51 are not liable for consequential damages, including but not limited to business losses and loss of income.
- Insofar as the organizer and Area51 cannot invoke the aforementioned liability limitations, the organizer and Area51 shall be liable only to the extent covered by the relevant liability insurance, including the amount of the excess.
- In situations not covered by these house rules, the organizer and/or the persons appointed by the organizer and/or Area51 will decide on the measures to be taken.
